As we continue to navigate through uncertain times in light of the recent Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we are taking this opportunity to assure you that we are committed to our clients.
It’s business as usual.
The entire team at MJM Accountants are taking all proactive measures possible to protect the health of our team and just as importantly the health of your business in troubling times.
The wellbeing of our clients and our staff will always be our highest priority.
In line with the guidelines recommended by Queensland Health, we encourage clients to use email, phone and video conference methods for client communication meetings.
We have introduced some precautionary measures.
This includes social distancing (no handshaking or direct person-to-person contact), additional cleaning/sanitation of our office space and flexible meeting options in place of face-to-face meetings such as phone or online via platforms like Zoom or Skype.
We're cloud-based which means in the event of a nationwide lockdown, we can work remotely and will be available during normal business hours.
Lead your business through the Coronavirus crisis
Given the disruption this event is already having on businesses, you’d be forgiven for asking ‘is it over yet?’. Well, no, it is not. Far from it.
The good news is there are a few things you can do to adapt to the new reality and supercharge your business.
Review (or prepare) contingency plans
We recommend looking at contingency plans for your own business – addressing issues such as cash flow, operations, and staffing liabilities.
Communicate with clients and customers
People are looking for reassurance. Build trust by being proactively transparent. Let your clients know that you are working on ways to keep things going. Think about innovating and planning strategically to achieve your business objectives.
Take care of yourself
The endless stream of news headlines can sometimes feel overwhelming. It is always important to look after your mental wellbeing, but even more so during times of uncertainty. Find out more about how you can look after your mental wellbeing in a crisis.
